256gb sd card issue

I was wondering if anyone that had got the 256gb sd card for free with the note7 last year, has tried putting it in the note8? I tried but I can't get it to sit right. The end of sd card pokes up making me not able to close sd card/SIM tray.

Did you make sure it was positioned right in the tray? Some of those trays make it difficult to tell which way

Yes. I'm going to try again later but it was annoying last night so I quit lol

Mine is at the access point ready for me to pickup. I'll Try to get it tomorrow before they close-have a 600 mile drive home from NC. Can't wait!!

I was able to finally get it to snap into place. So good to go lol. Never had one give me a hard time haha

Yeah it was a little tough sticking mind in there as well but I got it in there and the phone recognized it so I feel I'm good to go on that

Lol yeah. Same. I was scared to be to hard on SIM tray. Felt delicate lol

Ditto - at first it wouldn't sit right. I tried a 64gb Samsung-branded card, and it fit fine, but the Samsung 256gb card was very stubborn at first, but I finally got it to fit, but it took more pressure than I wanted to use!

I had trouble getting it too set in there too, I just had to be very Gentle But it finally set correctly slid right in.

I was having the same issue, then I tried putting it in back end in first (it seems almost like there is something that puts tension on the card in it's slot) once I did that it went easy.
