2nd N7 - Need Advice From The Community

I know we have a thread on glass "separation" but I need advice. I received my replacement N7 on Friday and, yes. it also has left side glass separation. I am not bothered by the slight raised edge or the sponginess but the rainbow "lcd screen: effect that occurs when I press on the left side of the screen, and more particularly the bezel, bugs the crap out of me. First, how many of you have seen the separation on both your original and replacement N7s. Second, will this separation get worse and adversely affect the life of my tablet. Any advice will be appreciated.

Return it and get another. This is not normal nor should you "deal with it".

I am on my second unit, and it has it also, but no where near as bad as the first one. My wife's, and my daughter's units also have lift, but not bad either.

Shame on ASUS for poor quality control!

Mine is slightly spongy and ever so slightly raised (but hardly noticeable at the moment) but I don't get that rainbow effect without pushing hard on the bezel, if you're getting it from a light press then you should definitely return it.

I have had 3 all with the same screen lift just got my money back today, guna wait until they sort the problems out, shame really because I love the device

This is why I am hesitant to get mine replaced. Right now its not terrible...should I take the risk?
