Question Samsung claims my returned phone fedex box arrived empty. What can I do here?

I ordered an S25 to try it out on May 23rd. When it arrived, I didn't like the camera so I sent it back for a return. Samsung received the return on June 12th. I've been going back and forth with Samsungs customer service and they sent me an email today saying the fedex box was empty when they received it. I've never had an issue mailing anything through FedEx so I didn't film myself putting the phone in the box. What can I do here? I tried the emailing the CEOs office already and they're the ones that are saying the box was empty. I don't understand how it took them over two months to respond to me if the box arrived empty on June 12th. This is the first thing I've ever bought on Samsungs website so I had no idea how bad their customer service was. Does anyone have any advice? I bought the phone through Affirm so it's not like I can do a chargeback on a credit card.​
