3.5 mm headphone cable not working

I've looked it up and it says 3.5 mm headphone cables should work on the Samsung s7, but only one side of my headphone works.

So is it the quality of the headphone jack or...

It also can be trouble with connector in your phone, try another headphones for example to determine the problem.
