So after having Blackberries for from 6-8 years or so, I made the jump to Android on Wednesday, with an LG Escape from AT&T.
Touchscreen is definitely a shock to the system, after having a physical keyboard.
I hoped the Escape with it's 2150 mAh battery would last longer than 1 day at a time between charges - not so far.
- really gonna miss going anywhere from 3-6 days between charges on my old Bold 9700.
Haven't been able to make my Ubuntu laptop mount the SD card, yet, but found an ftp/scp app that seems to work just fine over my home wifi,
Even the Windoze PC at home doesn't seem to see the SD, unless I run LG's On Screen stuff, so it's gotta be something in the OS.
In spite of having 20+ years of Unix/Linux experience, I'm not inclined to root the phone (yet)....
