It's almost 30 days with my note 8 and by far the best device to date for me. The 6 GB of ram really makes this device super fast and responsive IMO. I don't see the need to look at any new devices for the next few years especially with the cost of smartphones today. How's everyone else feel?

Love it. Just wish the battery was bigger. Been unplugged since 0700 and already at 56% with light usage. But at least it charges fast.

I like it, but I wish it was wider, not as fragile, and that Samsung had figured out the in screen fingerprint sensor.

Love mine, no complaints. Screen is amazing, Spen is great, my battery life is very good, and after giving Bixby a chance and learning it, it is awesome.

Wider? Interesting. Fragile? All phones are fragile now. In screen fingerprint? Apple couldn't even figure it out. Might been a rumor that never happens.

Agree 100%. This is my first phone in a long time that don't make it home without me charging in the car.

Yes wider, like the note 2. Making them taller and narrower takes away screen real estate.

Yes, it's fragile, and I don't care if Apple couldn't figure out the in screen fingerprint. It doesn't change the fact that I would be happier with the Note 8 if it wasn't as fragile and had the in screen sensor.

Didn't say any of that to say you should be happy just stating the in screen sensor seems to be a rumor and not something any company actually got close to acheiving.

OK, I get you.
Even if the sensor was on the front like before I'd be happier. Many times my phone is standing vertically on the kickstand. The sensor being on the front made it easier to unlock.

Yea the trend of moving the sensor to the back is my least favorite thing about all phones. Moved from iPhone and it's honestly the only thing I miss.

love my Note. came from Apple and had bad experiences with Samsung s3 and s7edge but so glad I came back! Phone hasn't missed a beat and was great value compared to iPhone tariffs

I'm really liking the Note 8, coming from the 5. I was using wavelauncher to pull up frequently used apps, the edge panel is a perfect replacement and more functional. Maybe its the switch from Sprint to T-Mobile (not constantly searching for a data signal) but my battery is great. After a full 10 hr shift battery is still good, last until bedtime. 6 hrs and change of SOT(from 5am to 11pm).

How many that can make it a whole day on a charge using always on display? It's usually top 3 or 4 in my list at the end of the day.

I have it always on (when not in a pocket) and haven't noticed any problems. Usually have around 30% left after 16hr day and about 5hr screen on time iirc.
