300$ off Pixel 3 or pixel 3A XL + 100 $ Amazon GC

So I broke the screen on my reliable Samsung S8. The screen is cracked somewhat badly but the display underneath works fine. Got the email from Google on $300 off for Pixel and they are giving me 80$ for S8 trade in with the broken screen, effectively bringing the cost down to 420$.
Amazon is also running a promotion on 3aXl for a 100 $ GC, effectively bringing it down to 380$.
Can someone help me decide if one phone is better choice than the other? Shall I buy one of the two or wait for other deal for the time being and keep on using the S8 considering the display is visible underneath the glass.

Pixel 3 for sure. No comparison. It's the better phone. Unless you want the bigger screen. It's the only reason you would go with 3a xl.

I like the bigger screen. Looked at both at Best Buy and 3axl looked just too big IMO!!
The concern I have with that is the Snapgragon 670 processor and the longevity of it.
On the other hand, i have heard some really bad reviews on Pixel 3 batteries and all others call 3A XL's battery life to be stellar.

IDK that I agree with that. On paper and specs, sure. But by all accounts the 3a is a very capable device and unless you really need the extra power of the processor I don't know that it's worth it. Given the coat of the 3a I think for most people it's the better phone.
