3500 mah extended battery question.

Just ordered the 3500 mah extended battery. Is it true that you need to use an external charger to get all the juice out of it? I don't feel like buying one but if its necessary I will.

I've only used the stock charger and ive gotten great results.16 hrs and up. Make sure you charge the battery 8 plus hours before use tho. I put my new battery in at 9pm and took phone off the charger at 6am for first use

You don't need the external charger unless you are anal about it and want it to last the extra couple of hours. Plus, not sure if you got the seidio 3500, but the battery cover fits very tight and it is not something I would want to be removing daily to charge the battery.

I have always just used the original charger and get plenty of life out of the battery (36+ hours at least).

Ok got the battery. How long should I charge for before I can assume that I will get the best usage out of it? Also, should I have my phone on or off during charging?

Either on or off. Charge 8+ hours! Maybe overnight
