Has anyone dealt with this site before? $389.00 for the i9250 seems too good to be true but with all the new phones coming out it could be legit.

$459.90 for a carrier unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus, which also comes with an actual warranty from Samsung (Negri assists in warranty claims).

Yeah I have one in my Amazon wish list right now for $489.95 and it qualifies for Prime shipping then I stumbled on this one. I am getting ready to bite the bullet, cancel my Sprint contract and pay the ETF fee. I can not handle the piss poor 3g anymore and my city will never see wimax. In the last two years I have watched my Sprint 3g go from a good 3mbps down to a average 250kbps. And when I am in L.A. and hook up to wimax I usually only get 4mbps on a "Real" 4g network when my buddies with T-Mobile are always cruising at 12mbps or better on HSPA+. Too bad I have been with Sprint for 12 years but taking away my yearly upgrade along with the degrading 3g has put me over the edge. God only knows how long it will take them to get LTE here! I was with my wife today while she was shopping and I could not get anything to load and I had full bars so I decide to do a speed test. this is pathetic......

Then I took my wifes Galaxy SII and did a test and only got 175kbps. Everyone keeps talking about all these hot Sprint HTC phones coming out but no one is mentioning the crappy network they are going to. Its like buying a Bugatti Veyron and putting a 1978 Ford Pinto engine in it.

Keep in mind that buying from Amazon means you have no warranty, and Samsung USA will not repair an I9250 even if you pay them. The only companies that offer warranty assistance through Samsung AFAIK are Negri and Expansys.

And if you're thinking about getting aftermarket coverage through Squaretrade or a similar company, beware: owners that have actually tried to make claims have had nothing but problems because they are not supposed to insure grey-market phones (according to the fine print on their website), even though they will sell it to you. You can find numerous posts/threads on XDA about this.

I have been doing searches in between work and I can not find my answer.....

Your search - what is the difference between a Samsung SC-04D Galaxy Nexus and ai9250 Galaxy Nexus - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.

So is there a difference between the Samsung SC-04D Galaxy Nexus and a i9250 Galaxy Nexus or are these two the same phone with different internal stock numbers that stores place on them? Am I looking at the same exact phone between the two model numbers?

Well I just found some info that says the SC-04D Galaxy Nexus is a Japanese model that some people will have trouble getting SMS/MMM to work if it isnt unlocked. Some people are reporting they buy one from Negri and even though it says unlocked some do not come that way, also supposedly the docomo version only supports 800/2100 bands so it is not the same as the pentaband unlocked version.

Now my head hurts... looks like getting one of these phones is going to take a lot more research than I thought. WAPINTA!

T-Mobile/AT&T users have been reporting no problems with 3G. All Galaxy Nexus versions have the same hardware (are all pentaband).

Negri sells it guaranteed unlocked. There is also a free app floating around called f***docomo that gives unlock, but that shouldn't be needed since Negri says their unlock is permanent. If you still want the I9250, you can also buy it from Negri and Expansys with Samsung warranty for $100+ more.
