I just purchased one Friday with no contract. The stores still show $549, but they have to honor the online price now. They won't last long because they are being phased out. Much better screen and build quality than the N7 but pretty laggy. Verizon is stalling on the ICS update as, well. I will give them a week to provide the update or I will return it. I don't want to get stuck with a $400 Honeycomb tablet.
