3D w/ ics battery life.

Im getting some serious battery drainage. My screen is set to half the brightness bar,my accounts are set to not sync at all,i use the phone moderately while using the browser. I get no more then 3 hours out the battery,and while using the browser my battery seems to be draining at no less the 1000mAh,meaning its lossing more or less 55% of the battery in an hour. And that With 4g turned off. -____- Would it be cause the acutal phone hardware was not optimized for android 4.0.?

I saw that it was my display and google maps that caused the drain. Went to a sprint tech and he did some things and my battery life is much better. One thing was to turn off the gps. Use when necessary

One thing to note is you came from GB to ICS. Thats a major update.
All your apps were also optimized for GB.
So several things could be happening. The OTA Install might have had a glitch or one or more of the apps you have need an update to now be compatible with your new OS.
Id recomend powering down, remove the battery for a few minutes. Power back on and let it settle in. Soon you should see updates for the apps, i think out of 100 apps i had about 15-20 update in the first 24 hours.
If after this you have issues time for a hard reset. Back up personal info and install apps from the market place and not from a back up.

My device is actually working better then it ever did on GB. I have better battery life and a snappier device.

I pulled the battery last night around 8:30 and still have 50%. I didn't use it til this morning.

I have a feeling that the new os needs to calibrate. I actually saw the battery go UP when not charging. Overall thou my life seems much better.
