I'm still having issues with 3G and wifi connectivity. The phone randomly "forgets" that it's connected to 3G, or sometimes wifi, and I don't get any notifications or push e-mail. And if I try to do something that utilizes the internet (ie: web browsing) it says it has no connection. I do the Airplane mode trick (turn it on/off) and that seems to work most of the time, but sometimes I'm still stuck rebooting the phone. The other day it actually forgot what time zone it was in!! WTF?!?!
Anyway, I've been running it a week or so like this to see if it would improve, and it has not. I still have this issue maybe once a day or so. I followed the installation instructions on XDA ([ROM] Incredible Sense/Froyo v3.21.605.1 *Official Release* (100% stock, rooted) - xda-developers), so I'm rooted with S-off and have the 2.2 install that was in the first post of that thread. What would happen if I were to install the official OTA version? I have it downloaded on my phone. Would I still have root? Should I wipe the phone first and see if that clears things up? I didn't do that when installing Froyo and all my apps, widgets, home screens, etc. were still there. Could that be causing an issue? Should I do a factory data reset?
Thanks for the help,
Brian
