3G goodness

Ordered a Moto G. Should be in mailbox today.
Going to try the XT1028 with PagePlus service.
Kind of leery about 8G but it is what it is.
Trying the $12/month plan and seeing what happens.
Anything upfront I should watch out for while utilizing Verizon towers?

Google Play won't function correctly.
Is that part of Verizon "goodness" or a bug?

The XT1028 works fine with Google Play on the VZW prepaid network I have no idea why PagePlus would be any different.
