3g speeds today

For some reason today my 3g have gone from the normal 300k to an average of 1.4mb. I'm in Southern California. Anyone else experiencing this? I really hope this isn't a fluke.

I get around 1.5-2mbps home and around 1mb down everywhere else. I'm in a Chicago suburb if that makes a difference.

Just to clarify, there is not was way for me to gauge the increase speeds, but I must say I noticed the increase in using tapatalk alone.

My speeds are usually very fast anyway but it seems like they have been even faster lately. I post here using the full web version on my phone and as soon as I tap on a thread I'm there. I don't measure using any sort of app, just based on my experience while using my phone in day to day life.

I hadn't checked in a while, but just did it at home turning my wi-fi off, and it was at 2.10mbps.

I'm in LA right now too.

Just now I got .65mbps in 3g and 3.14mbps in 4g.

this is a myth. Over the last month i have gotten all the way from 0.5 to 2.5mb depending on time place and network traffic. Sometimes i have gone from worse to best speed in the same location at random.
