3G stays active when Wifi is connected

Same problem here and the phone uses the 3G connection and not WiFi. What I do is I turn the phone on plane mode then turn on the WiFi. Sometimes having both on internet access stops working until turning one of them off

In the little time we have had 2.2, I believe this may have been fixed. I noticed it as well but 2.2 seems to have cleared it up.

Agreed, Froyo seems to have fixed this for me as well.

So I'm on my second day with My X.. coming over from about 7 years or more on BB's, My last was the storm 2 . so once you set up your wifi for lets say your house... does the phone automatically change to wifi from 3g if your in range and wifi on? I used to have to toggle hotspot browser on the BB.. what a joke that was, if you forgot to toggle on way or the other your browser wouldnt work.

Once you have wifi setup and remembered, then yes it should toggle to wifi once you are within range.
