WiFi will eat your battery up quicker then 3g. And also the 3g signal doesn't matter if you are connected to WiFi

And 3G will use up your DATA amount where WiFi won't. Since the OP is home using WiFi plug in the charger while using the phone ... and save your DATA when no WiFi is available.

I don't agree with this, my phone always loses more battery when on 3g than it does on 4g or wifi.

Depends on the signal strength if you have 1 or 2 bars of 3g and it keeps trying to find signal or it keeps fluctuating then yes your battery might die faster then if you're connected to wifi

You should download battery guru or any battery monitor app because it will tell you what's using so much of your battery

What are you actually doing on the phone? Personally, when I'm on a WiFi connection around my house , I'm doing heavy browsing along with HD video from YouTube and things like that.

When I'm out, most of the time it's light browsing or reading with pocket.

So pay attention to what you're doing. The fact of you downloading pages faster and therefore visiting more sites is more taxing on the CPU too.

i think my heavy work on the phone its whatsapp most of the day.. :)
i download some battery monitor and i think i'm just paranoid :D
now i have 60% - 9 hours work.. preety good i think..no? (no music,no WIFI,only whatsapp and little browsing)

Hi if you are on wifi and have 3G/4G won't matter. I believe that 3G/4G does kill battery more than wifi.

When I'm on 3g I rarely get more than 3 bars. When I'm on 4g I usually have either 1 or all bars. And when I'm oh wifi, i usually have between 1-3

hey guys,
don't know what to say.. when i'm on 3g i have all the bars .. and when i'm on wifi i have 1-2 lines... and i think the phone work hard to get this signal.. its can be the reason that my battery end so fast on wifi? (its happen only in my room..)

thanks for help
