3GP/Mp4. ? confused.

I'm sure this has been asked before. I was under the impression that the Epic would be able to record in "stunning HD Mp4 video". However, I can't seem to make mine record in anything other than everyday 3GP, which isn't so stunning. What am I doing wrong, or is this just it? Couldn't stand touch screen typing on my Evo but it seemed a lot more user friendly and actually did record in Mp4 HD. The Epic probably does too, I just can't find which setting to make it do so. Any help would be appreciated.

3GP and MP4 are just the formats, what really matters is the codec they use. the epic uses H.264 which is the superior codec. the EVO records in H.263 or MPG which are inferior this is why the Epic has superior video quality.

Thanks. So any resolution setting is HD?

The resolution is what makes HD what it is, I believe the lowest HD resolution is 1280 x 720.
