3gp video choppy

Hi,
I have copied my videos recorded on my old Blackberry Tour to my new sd card with the Droid X. I play the videos on the new sd card on my pc and they play just fine. I play them with three different downloaded video players on the Droid X and the sound is fine but alll the videos are choppy. They play very slowly even thought the sound is true. I have searched and found no one else with this same problem.....help? The vid files are all 3gp...
