An FYI 2 consecutive phones had very bad static in the earpiece with calls. ALMOST gave up on the Rezound but the 3rd has been running solid for a week. (love this thing now!) Don't know if there's an issue cropping up with this model.

Since "Rooting for Dummies" hasn't come out I'll make a brave attempt at that this week to Blow Out the BLOAT!

Hello,

Nice to hear that. Enjoy your phone and the forum. See you around. :)

This gives me hope, just started noticing the static today... may have to take a trip back to Vzw and get a new one. It's pretty bad whenever the volume is low or muted, while something is playing. It seems that when nothing is playing, the phone cuts the connection off to the headphones after a few seconds so it stops.

As far as that line at the bottom of your post, the cleantool from scottsroms works like a charm, it includes temp root and cleanup scripts all in one utility. Even will remove SENSE if you want to.

People still put phones to their ears??? How barbaric lol.

Sorry to hear about your troubles OP. Rooting for dummies is what some of us do best. Unfortunately we only have temp root for dummies(and everyone else). Check out scottsroms.com in the downloads section for CleanTool 2.1.1. It has a menu and everything...It's hard to go wrong.

This happens to the peoplei am speaking to when I use the beats headphones. They sound fine to me but say they heara lot of static. Using the phone earpiece or speakerphone it works perfectly

My hubby claims mine sounds bad but I don't. Maybe it is a guy thing??? Lol I lowered my in call volume and it sounds perfect, have not asked hubby to check though lol
