3rd unit with tinny, distorted BT voice reception

am thinking it's something all the phones have or I'm being too picky. Voices are choppy and tinny on multiple earpieces, multiple GNEX's. I got to get them to give me another model.....what a waste of time setting up all these phones and sending them back.

I have the same problem. I thought it was just me since I haven't seen too many comments like this around, maybe I'm just not searching correctly. For me, it's just the in-call quality. Listening to music is fine. Would love to hear from someone who may have solved this problem or have some interesting ideas.

phandroid has a long discussion on it too. am not confident that the next upgrade will solve it, since 4.1 did not.
