I'm hunting for a phone and have boiled it down to the 3T and Axon 7 since they're both deemed flagship killers. Like anything they have pros and cons though the 3T seems to have the lead due to the Oxygen OS, camera performance and speed. But I hesitate due to what I've read about factory QC. Therefore I'd love to learn from you owners what your experience has been and whether you'd recommend it. Thanks

I've had the 3T for over a year. No issues with build quality. Phone feels very solid and the buttons, volume slider, FPS, speaker, screen etc. still work like new. Also no reliability issues. The 3T has been out almost 18 months but I'd recommend it if you plan on keeping it updated with custom ROM.

Had mine over a year with no problems. Came from S6 edge and was blown away by speed. Build quality on a par.

Great devices both of them.
( have only owned a OP3 and 5 personally) No reliability issues at all for me.

Neither were, or are, flagship killers.
Good benchmarks on both though.

Get them very very cheap and they are a good buy.

Thanks friends..one of the things that confuses me when I watch speed tests between this device, the Axon 7 or others against phones like the GS7 is WiFi and LTE speeds. This device typically is faster than the Axon but WAY slower than the Galaxy S7..anyone know why that is? As far as benchmarks and practical use of apps, etc it certainly holds its own. The other reservation is the proprietary dash charger vs Qualcomm quick charge 3.0..Thoughts?

Thanks for the advice descb600f.. Still trying to figure out if the radios for WiFi and LTE are where they cut corners, though not that big a deal. I went and played with a iPhone 7 and while fast I didn't think it was the monster many of the YouTube video tests show.

Can't help with the WiFi I'm only on 12mb broadband see what I can do with 4G. Never had an issue browsing or streaming.

Thanks again my friend..12 mb connection seriously? Yikes..around here in the Bay area the lowest tier Comcast offers is 50! I'm on the 150 mpbs and get around 180 most of the time.
