Assuming you're on Verizon seeing as you're 4.2 The update you just received was just a small update but 4.3 has started rolling. Canada has it and GE phone owners have reported getting it as well. We're just waiting on carrier to drop the update now. Shouldn't be long and we'll have 4.3

If updates are that important sell the HTC One and buy the HTC One GPe. (Google Play Edition) Its on 4.3

I'm from Brazil. Here there's no HTC factory that imports the device. I think mine is unblocked american HTC. As I saw, I'll have to wait more than the others.

Yes we know everyone has opinions. But was addressing the issue of delayed releases. If the OP wants prompt updates he needs a GPe unit not a carrier branded unit.

I am which means I'm also LAZY...


which is why I can't bother Rooting.

4.3 is nothing special, I guess if apps aren't updated to support the Home/Menu it seems pointless. I was more thrilled when I received my $25 Google play card from hTc.
