4.1.83 Out?

Im in the beta program. Ive had the update. I thought you guys wouldve gotten this already. Since the release notes are out about it and you know what to expect. I wont talk about what the update is all about but Im pretty sure you can imagine.

All I know is that Im using my phone a lot more without wifi on LOL

can you speak on any speedtest results that youve done?

Have you guys just been checking the ota on your phone and not the Motorola website?

Try going to the Motorola website, click support, then software update and select the atrix. Download the update flasher program then try through there. That's how I got mine.

Last night I kept trying the ota on the phone and kept getting the message that my phone was current, then tried this rout and got my update right away, though I couldn't install it until this morning because I was low on battery.

you can get the 1.83 sbf that was posted by chris parsons right now if your phone is rooted. i did it and it the actual update youre waiting for, it even updates the phone to android 2.2.2

ive noticed that after flashing the 1.83 sbf which successfully updates the phone to 2.2.2 and enables hsupa, my phone is still prompting me to update to 1.57 , wierd , does anyone know why that is happening?

1st test - 238 ms / 725 kbps down / 85 kbps up
2nd test - 152 ms / 639 kbps down / 1175 kbps up
3rd test - 261 ms / 1310 kbps down / 151 kbps up
4th test - 253 ms / 2167 kbps down / 348 kbps up

This is in NYC (Queens, College Point). Probably tons of iPhone users in the building.

In a nutshell, pretty absolutely abysmal latency and throughput. Sprint on 3g gets 120 ms and 1.8 mbps down, and 1 mbps up... on WiMax it gets 15 mbps down, and 1mbps up (with CM7... stock ROM is throttled).

But hey, I won't look a gift Atrix in the mouth... as long as my company pays for the phone I guess I have no complaints.

yes, but its not the old version, it gave me 4.1.83, with andriod version 2.2.2

nothing in philly yet either man, i dont know if it has to do with the fact that im rooted and already flashed the 1.83 sbf , but to be honest id rather have the official build.

it says that on the web page. but if you download it and run it, it searches for an update and finds it.

Huh, that's exactly what I did only it wasable to find the update. Run maybe it was because my imei was in que or something. Sorry it don't help.
