4.2.1 messaging app crash

So I updated to 4.2.1 recently, now using Omega v44.2 XXUFMB3, and whenever I try to open the stock messaging app, my phone vibrates once then freezes for a while, vibrates twice then closes the app. Anyone else facing this problem? I've read somewhere that I should've used the "Full Wipe" function during the installation of the ROM, but I've already installed the ROM, so is there any way I can fix this problem?

Reinstall the ROM and make sure you do a full wipe.

So I just put the zip file back into my phone and install it again? And when I do a full wipe, does it remove all my contacts, messages, photos, etc.?

Yes! It does... I would suggest a full backup using Titanium Backup on ExtSd (if u have one)... Its the most reliable backup/restore app out there...
