4.2 kernel suggestions?

Anyone have any 4.2 kernel suggestions? I tend to be a fan of Franco's kernels but the r312/315 test releases are fastboot only. Trying to flash on the go so that's not an option. I actually flashed r300 on 4.2 Jelly Belly v10 assuming it was based on 4.2. Well, it wasn't and I had to restore a 4.1.2 build (my fault for assuming). I flashed v10.1 today and it's super smooth on the stock kernel, but I'd like to flash a custom kernel with more tweaks. What are you using?

If I flash one, is there a link back to stock kernel if I want it?

I've had very good luck with tiny kernel on 4.2. Definitely try it out too.

The Trinity says 4.1.2. Does or work with 4.2?

You have to flash the "experimental" kernel, Tiny though has updated it's kernel with some AMAZING battery life, try that one too.

Using Francos #327 nightly... Running smooth battery life is average

I've been flashing roms for a few months now and have gotten pretty comfortable with that. I was wanting to move on to kernels now,but I dont have a good understanding of what all kernels control or do. I'm definitely interested in speed and battery life improvements, is there more i should know? How has the experimental trinity kernel performed for you? I'm looking to try it out with paranoid droid rom 4.2.
