4:3 aspect ratio

Hey, guys.

Is anyone else a bit peeved by the fact that the camera, at its highest 12MP setting, now takes pictures at the 4:3 aspect ratio?

I kinda miss the field of view you get with the 16:9 ratio of previous models.

I'm not as that is the standard for photos.

I do get what you're saying though. It just doesn't bother me.

Just change it to 16:9. Do you plan on printing giant photos? Then get a real camera. It's really not a concern for me either.

I'm not peeved but I would have rather the whole screen but as the previous post you can change that by putting it to 9 pixels

If you want physical prints then 4:3 is best. For use on the smartphone, 16:9 9mp is more than adequate.

exactly..i did notice that as i am so use to 16:9 as i like the wide view as well. i'm not so much peeved but more surprised but the auto focus and low light performance outweigh it.
