I'm not trying to be harsh or something. If that's your opinion then I understand that. I'm not giving wrong hope or any hope for that matter. I'm just being honest and trying to help people. I'll try to let you understand how these kind of topics work: most people only start topics WHEN they need help or experience ISSUES/BUGS. People who experience no bugs or issues do not (most of the time) tell us how great it is etc.

If I hadn't experienced 4.3 myself and I would've read the messages you write, I would be afraid of updating to the latest version. That's why I'm responding to your messages. If anybody reads your and my messages they'll get the truth instead of just your opinion and thought about 4.3 being bad/buggy. I know the truth can be hard, but if you have a sense of decency in you, you would agree to why I'm doing this.

Moreover, you calling android 4.3. The 'devil' explains enough to me. You are so blinded with your thoughts that you won't accept the truth. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but you can't keep me from responding to your posts or any posts for that matter. Also, you're talking about doing us a favor but I'm only reading your complaints.

It's people like you who kill companies. The amount of people that have problems with android 4.3 on their htc one is really low. So considering that fact, there isn't anything wrong with the update. If you DO experience problems, it is easy to fix with factory resetting.

If a large amount of people have trouble with the update then it would be a fact that the update is troublesome, but It isn't. So do something with our advises and fix it.

Just remember why not everybody gets the update at the same time? Every provider puts the update thoroughly to the test and only, ONLY when it works good it is provided via OTA.

I'm not attacking you or something but I'm just trying to help you and others that experience this. If you keep on talking like 4.3 is something buggy, people will be scared and leave the update or even have a bad feeling about HTC in general.

I just updated to 4.3 - TMobile HTC One. Since the update, google maps keeps trying to update itself every few minutes - it won't stop. Anyone encounter a google maps problem after update?

You can TELL me that I'm wrong and write it on an Internet forum, but that fortunately doesn't make it true. Sorry to disappoint you and all the viewers.

You guys can hate on whatever ROMs, and 4.3 and whatever you wish. Makes no difference to me. My 4.3 is working great and I don't have the issues listed.

So I guess I'll just go back to using my awesome phone, on my awesome ROM, and try to force myself to enjoy it more than I already do.

You're not stupid, this is what the forum is for. No they are not the same thing. 4.3 is Jellybean. Chances are this version of the One will not get KitKat unless you root your device. Next year's models will probably get KitKat. If you're on Verizon you're running 4.2, and you already have a lot of what's coming in Jellybean. If you're on another carrier you're probably running 4.1, so 4.3 will be a bigger jump for you.

I'm running a stock Sprint 4.3, and it's terrible, WiFi cuts in and out a couple times a minute, battery life is considerably worse, contact pictures decide they want to exist whenever they feel like it, I'm considering doing a reset.

I am on T-Mobile and I have this same exact experience with 4.3, stock. The contact picture thing is really weird.
