4.4.2 Update for HTC One Now Delayed.

So it has been announced that there will be a miss in the deadline for the HTC One, North America carrier models. Should be within one to two weeks from the 31st. This means that the update may not have even as ready as they thought. Remember, the carriers have had this in their hands for a week now. So when the update does arrive....be cautious.

Mine is an AT&T model that has been unlocked. I may now try to get it direct from HTC, or root. It has to be worth it to get rid of AT&T bloat ware ...

You're absolutely right. However, if you would have added: "for the Verizon HTC One", then I'd like to know next week's weather forecast. I don't trust my local weather man these days.

Ok, stupid joke, but anyways. I like being able to read what I'm getting into, before the update. Sprint and Verizon can have at it.

It's the 11th already and no update. So both of the above stated deadlines were missed.

They stated that it would be up to two weeks later than the goal of Jan. 31th. If We don't get 4.4.2 tomorrow: AT&T is LATE again, just like the phones original release last April.
