4.4.2 wifi issues on Note 8

Anyone having issues or have resolved issues with 4.4.2 kitkat dropping wifi connections? Even when connected, I get messages from various apps including gmail that I am not connected.

Yes, I have a post concerning the same thing. The only thing Ive come up with is to go into WiFi settings and tell it to forget the network. Then log back in and rconnect. It did seem to help but I don't understand why

I could not connect to my network after the kikat update. I rebooted the device and then it connected to my network.Hope this is not a problem!
