4.4.4 pen problem and lag

Anyone else lose automatic pen detection for writing? The box in settings to automatically detect when the pen is out and go onto handwriting mode is still there, but it's blacked out.

Also, the phone is really laggy now. Is that just me? I really don't want to do a factory reset.

I have noticed lag on Google maps, s note, and s pen since the update. Nothing that I haven't experienced before with other updates. The patch will be out in a few weeks.

Or you can go to a Verizon repair center and ask them if they can fix it. (They sometimes get patches long before they're released OTA.)
