4.4.4 update ETA?

Guys I need help!! :/ so I downloaded an app called Solo Launcher to customize my phone...ended up not liking it so I deleted the app but it's launcher called TouchWiz stayed as the default Home app and well I did a mistake on my "application manager" I cleared the data for my "android system" 4.4.2....now idk how to get it back.!...& the TouchWiz launcher stayed as the default...I've tried selecting "android system" as the home app but it's not even an option anymore being that I erased it's data..what do I do? Do you think waiting for the October update will let me get it back?

if u can wait that long or longer for a update, yes, but if not a factory reset should work.

according to my phone touchwiz has always been the default launcher for my phone

TouchWiz IS the default launcher. Nova Prime is better though... If 4.4.4 is as bad as 4.4.2 you won't need a launcher at all...just a little shovel to bury the thing because it'll get no signal at all and have a 10 minute battery life.

Signal and battery life is strong here!

Oh, wait. I think you must have that new Hat3R virus on your Note 3!!

It's a joke, he's saying that poster was hating on the Note 3 and Samsung.

Right....but he was wrong...Love my GN3 Like Samsung fine... I just hate what the 4.4.2 update did to my GN3. There are numerous threads about it. Not all are affected and many worse than me. I don't know if it's all Verizon users either but 4.4.2 brought nothing to the table except to degrade my phone. I still love it. Others have suggested it's done on purpose to encourage upgrades. I suppose it's possible. I'd like to see 4.4.4 before I get S5 or GN4.

So what give's, dose anybody know when they will release the update. I don't even think I got the radio update. Signal is starting to really get worse, even on my droid maxx.

I've been checking everyday for an update. Having to keep the location turned off and use chrome as my default browser for my battery to make it a full day not to mention if my phone goes on 3g for a length of time, I usually have to restart it to connect with 4g. Kit Kat has been a pain. I wish I could go back to Jelly Bean. my number one killer of my battery life has been Android System. It was the screen when it had Jelly Bean

I don't know but every update diminishes features and uses more battery life. The best incarnation was the first.

I have no evidence to support this but I believe they're preparing 5.0 Lollipop and will skip 4.4.4 entirely. Don't think it does any good to check for updates until real news about it hits, and certainly the guys here at AC will let us know when it happens.

I have a Droid Maxx as a work phone on Verizon, and it has had 4.4.4 for a couple months now.... I don't really see much difference in it and my Note 3 except some of the icon's are different. As for the Radio signal they both are equal any where I go.

Sprint has had it for a couple months. They're just getting a fix pushed. AT&T got 4.4.4 yesterday.

Yeah, saw that. Oh well, thought there was a chance they'd skip, but if they're pushing out a 4.4.4 update at this point, even with a preview lollipop running, maybe they figure they spent so much time getting 4.4.4 ready it will buy them more time to ready lollipop. Or, is it possible that 4.4.4 needs to be pushed as a 'requirement' before lollipop? Don't know, just askin'.
