FWIW, I woke up to 4.4.4 on my rooted N7 without my OK-ing it. [/grump] The good news is I was able to re-apply towelroot and returned to rooted without a surprise.

I didn't know the device would update without permission - bummer. If that's the case I guess it wouldn't do any good to load older firmware...

So what's everyone's thoughts on this update? Still got mine on 4.4.2, as its working great, so don't want to tempt fate and update.

Not noticed any changes on either 4.4.3 or 4.4.4.

Updated yesterday to 4.4.4 and all looks good so far. Battery in standby is looking slightly better, so glad I upgraded now.
