4.4 Phone Dialer, is it an APK?

So, I already grabbed the 4.4 Hangouts and installed it on my Moto X, works great.

The 4.4 dialer looks cool from a little snippet I saw on a video. Is the dialer an APK that can be shared like any others or is it system?

I'm trying to find it too! Still on the Touchwiz dialler which is unattractive and sluggish!

Unfortunately it seems to not be an APK but part of the system...

I'm not sure if it works, I don't have a phone to test it now.
