It looks like with these batteries we loose the NFC function of the existing OEM batteries...don't know if I like that or not.

NFC function is made in the OEM battery is enabled via the antennae made in the OEM battery?

On the GS3 the NFC antenna is in the battery but the NFC antenna in the Note 2 is in the battery cover.

Ya I ordered one as well.. For that cheap of a price why not. Most it can do is fry it or something and I just get a new one. ha

Maybe you shoudl've ordered like the three 3500mah batteries like I bought for $20 from Amazon.

Not on the Note 2, Samsung moved the antenna to the back cover. It's not in the battery, much better design.

Those are just estimated but I looked and you ordered from a different vendor than I did. Mine shipped on 11-23 and I revieved it on 12-03, so it should be pretty quick. especially coming from China.

I guess cute panda is a legit dealer. I got mine today. I ordered it on 1-6-13 and it took a total of 10 working days to arrive.

Ya, I ordered mine from cute panda as well and it was shipped on the 7th.. shipped Singapore post. says I should have it Feb 9th..A month to ship!!!
