4000mah Ebay Battery review

Well it's day 2 and my battery is at a higher level than yesterday but a little less screen time today. I forgot to mention that yesterday I put it through some heavy use as a was installing different boot animations and kept turning my phone on and off about a dozen times I am also on 4G for about 90% of the up time as I have no wi-fi
at work . I have also been using navigation with full time gps for my work commute and been using battery saving mode with cpu management off

The percentage remaining is covered but i think it says ~28%. But the day is half over.

aren't you averaging around 20 hours with maybe 10-15% remaining battery life? When you were on stock battery ?

It was 28% I don't believe my stock battery screen said 20 hours as I charge my phone every night there was a period today that I turned my phone off for a few hours

Well it's day 3 and I am not seeing much difference maybe even a little worse performance today. Less screen time and less usage on my part as it was a busy day at work. But for $12 you get what you pay for. Btw I am at 16% and the phone went off charge at 5am no bump charges or shut off time

16 hrs uptime with with 18% left is pretty good.

I'd be interested in seeing if you went back to the stock battery if you see equal or better battery, give and take how busy the day is

It is hard to get two work days where I can try to match usage. This battery is not a waste of money. But I was not getting bad service out of the stock either. I guess I expected this battery to make me go WOW and I am not feeling it. I will put the stock one in tomorrow and see how it goes.

Ed you sound like more of a heavy power user by the way you are running this battery down. For you i think you need one of those 6000+mah batteries with the different rear battery door!!!

My battery should be here today waiting on the mail man now. I hope they get here before the storm hits.

Anyway to get one of these from amazon and not need all that shipping time?

Well the 4000mah does a little better than stock as I had the stock battery in today. And I am down to 12% and its not time to go on the charge plus I cheated a little today and turned 4G off while I had to go out int the field for a total of 4 hours so I feel a little better about the larger battery

What's your call time? Was the screen on for internet and texting?

Okay, so the stock battery performed well for most of us. :)

hey, if this storm knocks out power for me... I have 1 3100mah, 2 3500mah and 1 4000mah battery to keep me happy!!! Woohoo

OK, after the third cycle, I got 22 hours out of the battery. This time, I was using my phone for my mobile hotspot for my laptop all day trying to drain the battery down. This will be the first day on a full charge after my third cycle. This will be the day to see if the 4000 mah battery is worth all that money I paid for it. $11.99 US.

Update: After using the battery for two weeks, yesterday I noticed that the battery went all the way down to 12% on normal usage. But, I'm not gonna say the battery is starting to fail. I had almost no signal most of the day so it might just be working overtime trying to obtain a signal. I just took it off charge so it's at 100% now and I'll post back later tonight on the latest update. BTW, I put in my OEM battery to charge it up for the first time in two weeks and it was still at 100%. Thats good to know. Good luck with yours. I can say it has been awesome so far.

I have had bad luck with after market batteries in the past, most perform okay when I first got it, but after a while, performance decreased, at a rate way faster than stock batteries.

That, and cell phone batteries have exploded before. Yes, chance is very slim, but, imo, Samsung batteries are less likely to explode. Of course, a note 2 battery did explode, so anything is possible. It is easier to track down Samsung than some ebay vendor selling stuff from overseas.
