I have posted before about the ongoing issues with wifi affecting the phone functions on my new S5

The wor around I have found is to turn LSE off. My understanding is that this will turn off 4G. Am I right. Are there any other possible issues with disabling this.

Well technically LTE is considered "4g LTE". What else did you post about?

Sorry, I meant LTE

When WiFi and 4G are both on I cannot receive incoming calls or texts. I have to turn WiFi off to get these phone functions.

Which carrier are you on?

Haven't had that issue (I'm on T-Mobile). You could just do wifi calling...not sure how much data you use though.

receiving texts has nothing to do with wifi or data. you don't need data to receive sms messages. I was having the same issue with my LG g2 on Verizon after it got the kit Kat update
