All 4G phones have radio issues.
So 4G has been out for awhile now. We all know the promise but is it ready for prime time? With all the negative experiences across several phones (i.e. dropped signal and limited battery life) is 4G worth buying now or should we wait 3-6 months to let the technologies mature?

Asking the same question differently, would you buy your 4G phone again now knowing what 4G performance is like? To be clear, I'm focusing just on 4G - not UI.

LTE seems to be awesome. I've been hearing people getting blazing speeds. Battery life may suffer but I don't see that being addressed for a while.

3g to 4g is like having a 20 inch low def crt TV and then moving to a 65 inch HD led TV.

It just blows you away. Think you can watch that 20 incher after that? No way

First thing I would suggest is checking the carriors around you and coverage area. Pointless to purchase something that you cannot even use.

That said 4g for the average user is indistinguishable from wifi. So if you think the difference between wifi and 3g is great then 4g would be as well.

Yeah, what ej909 said. It all depends on your carrier and location. 4G as it should be (6 MB dl speeds) blows away 3G, but many people don't see those speeds due to location, carrier, and even the device.

Its been awhile now and I want to address my own question. 4G LTE is worth it. The speeds seem faster than most Wi-Fi connections.

The cost is battery life.
