Well, I can finally see AT&T's 4G LTE speeds in Austin. We were added to the list of cities. I just ran a speed test and saw my download speeds as 6737 kbps (HSDPA network). Is that a decent speed for 4G LTE?

If you are using an Infuse, I don't believe it's capable of LTE connectivity, although the LTE infrastructure may help with the HSPA+ capabilities. Here in the Tulsa area, strictly HSPA+/3G, I usually get about 3000 kbps, so it does seem to be an improvement over that. Not sure what AT&T "target" speeds are for HSPA+ or LTE, although I believe I have read some test results of LTE 4G being anywhere from 12 - 30,000 kbps.

Does my Samsung Infuse work with this new 4G speed? I don't see much of a difference. Of course, most of the time I am using my AT&T U-Verse modem wireless as a means of getting me new mail and other data.

The Infuse is not 4G LTE. LTE speeds have no bearing on your HSPA+ speeds.

Sent from my Samsung Captivate using TapaTalk.

Even though it's a 4G phone, it's technically not LTE. Just HSPA+. I've had up to 8300 kbps over the mobile network using the speedtest.net app.
