I wanted to get everyones feed back on the speeds they are getting on their PC's while wireless tethering to the EVO Shift 4g.
I tested my phone with the Speedtest.net app prior to rooting and hooking the wireless tether up.
I was downloading at 2.5 - 4.0 Mbps and uploading anywhere from 0.8 - 1.5 Mbps here at my house on the phone.
After rooting I am dl at 2.7 Mbps and ul at 0.8 Mbps on the phone.
I test my laptop connected to the wireless tether on Speedtest.net and am only getting 0.7 Mbps down and 0.3 Mbs up.
Any thoughts or tests previously done?
