4g tethering on CM7?

Is there a way to get 4g tethering on CM7?

Should be built into CM7. Go into Settings, Wireless Networks, Tethering & Portable Hotspot.

4G is the Wimax setting. Go into Wireless settings and click Wimax on. It should turn on and scan for a signal.

are you wanting wired or wireless? Ive used the wireless tethering built in to CM7 while in 4G and it runs great, havent tried the actual corded tethering.

Nope I use it all the time for Netflix and playing Black Ops on my PS3. I get anywhere from 5-10mbps down and the capped 1mbps up.

I get the same thing. When I try and use the tethering while on 4g I get no data to my laptop at all. The second I switch off 4g and go to 3g the tethering starts working immediately.

I haven't had any issue with 4g and tethering with CM7. I have also used to watch netflix on the PS3. It worked great.

weird. I guess it's just my phone. I've tried everything and can't seem to get it working. Are you using the built in app that comes with the phone or the modified wireless tether app for vaelpak?

The stock wireless tether doesn't seem to work for me on 4G, but wired definitely does work. Wired tether seems to work better with the app from the android-wired-tether project though, and is definitely good enough for my needs. Has anyone tried the Wireless Tether app from the market?

I know this doesnt help, but my CM7 is the only rom that even gives me a stable 4g connection on the outer rim of a 4g network. I can still watch netflix and play blackops. Love CM7!
