4G turns on when Airplane Mode turned off

I finally broke down and installed GO Launcher EX. I'm loving it except that whenever I turn Airplane Mode OFF, 4G turns on. The same thing happens when I turn the phone on or when I go to GO Launcher from Sense. Sense still works normally, BTW.

I also installed Widgetsoid 2.x to (sort of) replace those nice Sense toggle widgets. I have the same problem even when I remove the 4G and Airplane Mode widgets.

I use Airplane Mode a lot and am rarely in a 4G area, so I'd sure appreciate any suggestions. The GO Launcher site is pretty basic, and I see no way to contact the devs. I'm unrooted with Froyo.

No answer, but I've noticed the same thing using Launcher Pro and the Airplane widget from Beautiful widgets.

This happened with any of the non sense launchers and 4G widgets it even happened with beautiful widgets it is annoying but it is a known issue.

I've seen it with Sprint Lovers and Myn's Warm roms as well. Very annoying.
