Won't be out for a while yet. Samsung hasn't officially said anything about Lollipop yet other then it will come out for the Note 3 before the Note 4. Since it's not out yet for the Note 3, it's not going to be out for the Note 4 anytime soon.

Won't be out for a while. When it is released in the US, the carriers have to tinker with it first and add their bloat. Probably won't see it until late spring or early summer.

Anybody keeping track of when Samsung "said" they were releasing 5.0? I seem to recall during the pre-shipping/ordering stage that we were told the first of the year. Then I heard middle of February. Any latest vapor dates?

Sorry to be pedantic, but 5.1 isn't even out on AOSP yet. Samsung is, I believe, basing their Note 4 firmware on 5.0.1.

Carrier releases will be significantly delayed, and given that most cell users in the US tend to buy carrier versions, that means it's gonna be a while before we see Lollipop.

And given how "well" Lollipop works on my 2012 Nexus 7, I'm honestly not in that much of a hurry, really.

UK and Poland Note 3 users, who got Lollipop, have noticed bad battery drains. This happens with every major update. Some people like to suggest hard reset before update. I am just gonna suggest stay the course and refuse to update.

Yeah, I had to reflash back to 4.4 on my 2012 Nexus 7. Even after a factory reset that only worked for a couple of days. Was a total POS making the thing unusable

Rogers Wireless just announced Loilipop won't be out for the S5 until March which means the US counterpart won't have their ROM ready till then. In turn the Note 4 update won't be out until early or late summer.

Lollipop works great on my 2013 Nexus 7. But I'm still in no rush for lollipop on the Note 4.
