5.0 system Update

Just received a notification of a 5.0 update. Currently downloading it now, 37.3MB. Suppose to improve performance and stability and bug fixes. Anyone else get the notice?

Got an error during the update. Had to shut it down and just turning it back on now. Hopefully it didn't brick the tablet.

The sticky thread for bugs abs and fixes has some discussion about it. Haven't gotten the update yet myself.

Update came for me, along with the error. As I was looking up a phone # to call for support, the tablet restarted and finished the update. Very strange.

The update popped up here too. I got the error and after a few minutes shut down by holding the button. Restarted the tablet and all was good. Don't know if the install completed.

Does anyone know how to tell if the update was installed? The tablet now reports no update available.

Have a look in Settings/System/About tablet...

The build number should be 'LRX21Q' after the update.

OK so no joy here. I've read that this update is not exactly correct (hardware issues?). We'll have to wait patiently for a new release.
I'd love to post the link but I'm not allowed. It's from a thread over at xdadevelopers in the Nexus 9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

So it eventually updated to the Q version? How long did it rest on the error screen before it completed?

After looking at the build number, it didn't update, just restarted.

I got the update earlier today, but it seems as though it didn't actually update.
