So I just finished downloading the 5.1.1 update on my Note 4 about an hour ago. All I did was clear the cache partition though and the phone feels a bit snappier so far, especially with the recent apps button. It's too early to say what battery life is like as yet, so I'll see how it goes tomorrow. My version is an unlocked version (SM-N910H).

Sanjay, who is your provider?

Thank you.

Digicel, but honestly playing around with it, I'm not seeing any significant difference with respect to speed. I'll see how it goes in days to come.

Sanjay. I recently updated to 5.1.1 as well through I am on T-Mobile . I did not see any improvement in battery life so I did a full factory reset and am now grinning ear to ear. My phone is now very fast and the battery life is the best I have experienced since i got the phone.

So you think I should just jump right in and do the factory reset or give it a few days again? Wait, your battery life is even better than when it was on Kit Kat?

Off topic but does anyone know if there is a way to permanently disable that little call window when you are on a phone call?

So I just finished doing the factory reset and it went pretty well so far. Phone definitely seems snappier. Will have to wait and see how battery life holds out.

You mean the one if you're looking at a website while you're on a call?

It's on every screen that I go to while on a call, I can disable it but the next call it's on again

That's weird. I have mine on, so I'm not sure why yours won't stay off.

I did it, and I already noticed better battery life and it's definitely snappier. Feels almost like the first time I got my phone, thank you.
