I bought my nexus 6 through Verizon, and haven't received the 5.1.1 update.....I'm not alone, right??
I've checked repeatedly throughout the day for system update, but "system is up to date."

I unlocked my boot loader, but did not root. Just curious if there is a connection there?

Just received 5.1.1 update. I'm on Verizon, no root, boot loader unlocked and I purchased through Motorola back in December. Hope this info helps as far as non VZW Nexus 6.

I went to Settings > About Phone > System Updates> Check for Updates
It came back Up to Date but then got notification that 5.1.1 update was available to download.

If you don't have the stock recovery it will fail

Ugh. I have a VZW Note4. At 23:30 Central US time, I got a pop-up that mentioned it was optimizing apps. Now, it has been rebooting over and over, never getting past the Verizon splash page. Thanks for the brick, Verizon!

I'm lurking here to see what you guys have to say about it after the update. Just got the update on turbo and hate it. Cut my battery life in half because I can't toggle 4g off using Tasker. I also can't restrict background data. I really regret the update and am looking to change.
