Sorry it the title sounds sensationalized it's not intentional. Just trying to get the word out ASAP. I'm guessing AC may have an article up soon about this to keep spreading the word.

Urgent: Leaked Thunderbolt Gingerbread Radio May Cause Hard Bricks – We Advise You Revert To Froyo | Android News, Reviews, Apps, Games, Phones, Tablets, Tips, Mods, Videos, Tutorials - Android Police

XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14137013

NOTE: This applies to leaked Gingerbread Sense ROM's not ROM's like CyanogenMod that are based on AOSP (Gingerbread Android Open Source Project code).

Edit: Sigh messed up the title. Can a MOD fix it to be [5/26/2011] - <the rest>

Thanks for the heads-up, but this has been posted twice already. ;)

Version info?

Have never seen any posting suggesting what GB radio version(s) were suspected of causing the issue and why it seems to be causing the issue(s) resulting it the boot looping. Seems it would add a lot of credibility to these reports/warnings if some specifics were mentioned. Anyone have this type of info?

There is only one version of the leaked Gingerbread radio out. I would guess that one is it. The rest are Froyo radios...

There is only 1 GB radio leak for the Thunderbolt. They haven't released a cause publicly but do have several circumstances that point to the GB radio as being the common denominator.
