Anyone else get prompted for the 5.9.902 update today? I tried to download and install it but it keeps telling me that the update could not be properly validated. I'm running 5.9.901 currently.

Same here. I'm running 5.9.901 as well. Wondering if that's the cause. (Since it really wasn't "official"). Thoughts? :-\

Offically, I haven't officially gotten any updates official or unofficial. All the talks of unofficial updates offically makes me all creeped out. However, unofficially, I haven't gotten any official updates either. So, I think we can officially end the matter of official and unofficial updates.

brett: i have heard conflicting reports regarding bionic software version 5.5.893, 5.9.901 and 5.9.902...which is the latest, official version to be running
Andrew: The one with the 901 on it, there's no 902.

I woke up to a notice that said my phone downloaded updates, and asking if I wanted to install them. After doing so, I am now showing 5.9.902.
I got the update 12:30 am. Can't say if its any different. Seems like the last few days my phone has been very touchy. Thought it was going back again. The update seems to stabilize it.

My Dad's in town and woke to find the .902 update ready for him on his Bionic. He's installing now. Not sure if he was on .893 but would assume so.
Can't say about 902, but I'm going on 971 hours since last boot using 901. Seems they've figured this out, and the 4g is great. I had gotten the 901 of the web.

I got the 902 update last night as well, only problem I have is I lost root....That SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!
I just got 5.9.902 this morning.
Some of the bloatware apps Verizon installed are: Amazon MP3, Verizon apps store, MOG Music, Sling box, Verizon video, Videos, & emergency alerts (one of the options include "Presidential-level alert").
I really don't know what to think about that last one.
