So in order to use this you have to buy one of 5 recommended items? (buds, 3 watches, or a tablet?) So I can't use it to get a 35 dollar case and a 15 dollar brick? LOL I don't need buds, a watch, or a tablet. Way to go samsung, bait people in with an extra 50 bucks knowing maybe only 10% might use it.

The bummer (and correct me if I’m wrong) is that one can’t order a phone AND a watch AND trade in a phone AND a watch AND get the $50 discount. I’d put the two orders in the same order, but can’t figure out how to trade in TWO items.

I encountered the same problem.

Also, there is no option to trade in a 2024 Ultra (unless you want to have it treated as a $100 "any" watch).

I just noticed that. I thought it applied to the cases also. I think I'll be cancelling the case portion of my order or returning it if I can't cancel just the case,but it looks like I can cancel just the case. I can buy a cheap case off Amazon to use till my pitaka comes in, it's suppose to ship the 28th, so I might just use it caseless to start with. I never intended to keep using the Samsung case long anyway, not paying $70 for that, I would have paid $20 to tide me over.

Samsung is getting more shady every day it seems.
 
I just tried cancelling the case on my order and let me push the cancel button but it failed, said the order is being processed for shipment. I need to return it when I get it.

I assume that's just for the case, I wasn't brave enough to try to cancel the phone. I don't know if they are shipping the case separately which is unusual if they are, or are they going to ship super early this time around. Maybe Samsung is trying to beat possible tariff issues.
 
I just chatted with Samsung and they said we should get the email with the discount and order from the link included in the email. Otherwise I can wait till the phone ships and contact them for a $50 promo credit which probably useless.

They also said from what she is seeing my order is being prepped for shipment, which the case says that on the order page, but phone still says in process. She said the phone is showing shipping also on her end, I said I doubt that. Lol
 
I went to order another one to see if anything changed. I ordered a black 512. I got the price to $1,899 by selecting different colors and carriers, went back to unlocked and the price stayed at $1,899. It gave me $100 reserve credit.

I have 2 ordered right now. I'll lose my place in the order sequence since I ordered release day, but Samsung doesn't follow that to well anyway. Not sure what I'll do. I have a suspicion that phones are shipping next week. The new order does not have label generated for trade in like the one I ordered on first day. Usually I'm a patient guy, but it would be nice to be one of the first once. Damn decisions.

It won't let me cancel the original order. I'm probably going to be forced to pay $100 more. The cancel button is now gone.

I went to order another one to see if anything changed. I ordered a black 512. I got the price to $1,899 by selecting different colors and carriers, went back to unlocked and the price stayed at $1,899. It gave me $100 reserve credit.

I just went on the site the price says $1999 right away. Basically I was just seeing if any of the colors ran out of stock and checked carriers also. The price switched to $1899 and stayed that price when I went back to unlocked version and it let me order it and the order was confirmed short time later. I think it's a glitch, but try it anyway


EDIT. I just tried again, all I did was switch the color and the price changed to $1899

i did a reorder last night to get the new price, this time they allowed the $50 bennie.

Samsung know consumers are not jumping on and buy these. This is the very first time, this round of F7, they roll back pricing several time since launched.
 
For some reason I didn't get the reserve credit when ordering my Fold7 on the 9th and then I thought it might show up after shipping, however it didn't. So this morning I called customer service to see if I would still be able to use it some how, they said it would be available in a couple of days and then offered me an additional $50 for my troubles. So if anyone isn't see their credit you may want to reach out to customer service.
