Those of you that have the 512GB phone, are you seeing a increase in overall speed of the phone vs the 128gb? Does it function smoother? I am considering another note 9 and debating if I should get the 512 or the 128...

The videos I've seen show it perform just a tiny bit faster when multitasking or having a bunch of apps open. Barely noticeable. I got it more for future proofing. Apps and games are getting alot bigger and more resource intensive.

I switched from 128 to 512, mainly for the bigger RAM. But in daily use I dont experience any difference.

I'm an experiencing a bug with the 512 where apps still get kicked from memory even when I have over 2 GB free. Hoping an update can fix.

32-bit apps are still allowed. Wouldn’t be surprised if there are apps out there that can’t take advantage. Or interfere.

A YouTube demo last fall that showed a note 8 easily open and reopen in reverse order over 100 apps without lag or slowing down.

Hoping the Note 10 has a 10GB option.

Not that anybody needs it really but it wouldn't surprise me if Note 10 got 10gb Ram and minimum of 512gb storage with a promotion offer of a free 512gb sd, next generation 7nm processor, 6 cameras minimum (4 back - 2 front) and this time a serious upgrade on the s-pen instead of just a few gimmick bits like the 9.
It would not surprise me if the foldable X or F whatever the name will be would be a really hardcore version of the Note series.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Pro Foldable Edition, bring it on DJ Koh :-)

Just my opinion and another reason I bought the note 9 is I believe this is the last Note. I believe that the S's will continue for some time.

Note series won't die just yet, maybe change but not die, Samsung have to much invested in it and it sells well

You probably won't notice a serious difference in speed, but 512GB of storage is not something to shy away from. Unless money is an issue, of course. 😉

Higher density storage can mean less need to be move files to new pages, more bandwidth channel I/O.

2019 could bring two bug improvements - LPDDR5 and UDS3 (2x the performance if current memory and storage).

I herd of the S 10, however I had not herd of a note 10 in the works........good news

I chose the 512Gb option so that a Sd Card is no longer needed.

I back up to clouds etc.

There are YouTube videos I believe comparing the 6Gb to the 8Gb of Ram.

Go with your disposable income.

Both are incredibly complete phones.

Not a bug. Same number if apps are allowed open as the 6gb version

I only cycle through about 10 apps.

Give or take a few. RAM is usually about 3.5 GB free or less. That's not a heavy load unless there is a "time limit" on how long an app stays active.
