5G 4G 3G question

I have an Asus z6 and love it. I got it when it first came out in Sept 2019, so it's pretty new.
I got an email from AT&T, saying I need a new phone when they drop 3G, very soon. I thought my phone had 4G, but I don't know how to find out. I called AT&T, but they don't have any listing of this phone, so they don't know. They suggest I buy a Galaxy.
Is there a place on my phone that will tell me?
The Z6 has 256 GB memory, dual SIM, SD slot, huge battery, great camera, everything I wanted when BlackBerry let me down.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Judy

The phone is certainly capable of 4G. Do they say anything more, such as that your version is not right for their network or something?

Look in Settings, Wireless & Networks, More, Mobile Networks, Preferred Network Type.

Phone version is in Settings, About Phone.

The issue is about VoLTE support, not just 4G. It's not clear if ASUS was successful in getting VoLTE support for the Zenfone 6 on AT&T, but it sounds like they weren't.

I believe you would need a phone that supports VoLTE on their network -- otherwise, you may not be able to make calls.

And incidentally, if I had the Zenfone 6, I would rather change carriers than phone: in my opinion it’s one of the few good recent phones because no notch or punch hole; but that’s just me.

Best phone I ever had. I was worried about the flip up camera, but I've had no problems with it, and it takes great pictures!!
I'm pretty locked in to AT&T, and other carriers will probably follow suit anyway.
